Electrostatic polarity detector – Case

Take the antenna acrylic and cover one side with foil up to the engraved line.

Cuto off the foil flush to the edge.

Place the antenna onto the base plate, with the foil uppermost.



Place the PCB on top of the antenna. (note: the pins the foil is contacting are already joined together)

Place the +ve and -ve acrylic over the respective red and green LED’s.

Place the top acrylic down over the PCB, you may need to flip it to fit over the switch.

Secure the Top, PCB antenna and Base with 3 M3x20mm bolts and nuts.

Secure the antenna with a single 10mm M2 bolt and nut.

The Polarity detector is complete.

Insert two CR2032 batteries with both of the -ve sides towards the PCB.

To remove/replace the batteries, you will need a screwdriver to push out the batteries from the other side.
